Jenn Brooke Photography STUDIO Policies

Session retainer is due in full at the time of booking in order to guarantee your session date and time. Along with the session retainer a contract must be signed to consider the date booked.

Behind the scenes photography or videography only will be permitted with requested permission, to include cell phones, for clients, friends, or family members during the course of the shoot. 

Your session will begin promptly at the scheduled time. Please be prepared and fully ready to begin at this time.

All orders form your session will take place at a special Reveal and order Session created for this purpose, one to two weeks after your session.  This appointment will last approximately an hour, and all persons who wish to place an order {or have input into your family order decisions are requested to at tend.  If they will be unable to attend, please have their order prepared to bring to this session.

Basic retouching included. Additional retouching is billed at an hourly rate to include removal of braces, digital slimming, wrinkle reduction, teeth whitening, etc.

All images that are ordered are on file for one year from the date of your purchase. Unordered images will be removed from storage after 30 days from date of first viewing.

Due to the custom nature of the products and services provided by Jenn Brooke Photography, all sales are final once received. Items cannot be returned or exchanged. You may add on to your order at any time, but a sale is considered final at the time it is made.

Custom designs, layouts and albums will be proofed to you within 2 weeks of your order. You are granted one opportunity to make up to three changes within your layout. All requests for changes must be made at the same time, as only one additional proof will be created. We reserve the right to make final decisions on artistic layouts.

Utmost care is taken with respect to the proper exposure, retouching, and archiving of digital images. In the unlikely event of data loss, camera equipment malfunction or photographer illness that prevents the undertaking of the session, photographer’s liability will be limited to the refund of all session fees, or a new session can be scheduled at no additional cost to the client.

All images provided by Jenn Brooke Photography whether in digital (online, email etc…) form or in print, may not be reproduced by any means. All images created by Jenn Brooke Photography are protected under copyright law.

Jenn Brooke Photography reserves the right to use the any images or custom created artwork for display, publication, studio marketing, or other promotional purposes. Digital negatives and originals remain the property of Jenn Brooke Photography.

Digital files are not included with your session retainer, but can be purchased with our one of our collections.

Your image presentation will show 25-35 images from your session. These images will represent, what we feel, artistically capture the essence of your session.



Jenn Brooke Photography, LLC is full committed to your privacy.  Any personal information, to include but not limited to, information collected over the phone, by email, or on questionnaires is strictly confidential.  We do not sell or exchange names or other information about our clients with any third parties.



Jenn Brooke Photography, LLC shall retain copyright ownership of all works created for any session and on this website, including but not limited to all images in their original and processed formats. It is understood that any duplication or alteration of original images is strictly prohibited {Copyright Law Title 17, Appendix V. Additional Provisions of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act 2005, Section 102} without the written permission of the Photographer. Alterations include, but are not limited to, application of filters, cropping, or modifications of any kind.


Cancellations & Refunds

If the Client requests to amend or cancel this contract 8 or more calendar days before the agreed upon  event date, the retainer shall  be applied to a mutually agreed upon reschedule date. If the Client fails to show or cancels seven or less calendar days before the agreed upon photographic event date, the retainer shall be forfeited.

In the event that the Client requests to reschedule a photographic event, the retainer shall be applied to a rescheduled event if notice is given at least seven days prior to the scheduled event. Reschedule must be within the same calendar year. Any Client that is late arriving to the event will have the amount of time late deducted from the time allotted for the event. Clients shall not be compensated for the time deducted from the event due to late arrival of the Client.

If the Photographer is unable to perform this Contract due to illness, emergency, fire, casualty, strike, act of God or causes beyond the control of the Photographer, the Photographer and the Client shall make every attempt to reschedule the photographic event. If a reschedule is unable to be agreed upon, the Photographer shall return the retainer to the Client and shall have no further liability. Further, if the Photographer is unable to deliver photographic materials due to technological malfunctions, including but not limited to the equipment operation and image processing, or photographic materials are otherwise lost or damaged without fault of the Photographer, liability shall be limited.
